Carrots and Crowhead

I am Carrots, why you ask? Well I can tell you for sure it's not because I like Carrots and Kate's not Crowhead because she has a fascination with crows. It's because of this amazing thing called Anne Of Green Gables. Ever since I was a little girl I have loved Anne of Green Gables, I watch the movies every summer...sadly I've only made through three of the books, but I plan to rectify that. I've also had this long lasting crush on Gilbert Blythe (I mean he is kind of perfect) and I've always wanted to be a ginger. Anyway, back to the names, so if you know anything about Anne of Green Gables you know that Gil calls Anne "Carrots", she smashes a slate over his head, and then they fall in love, get married and become the best OTP in the history of fiction. Plus you know other stuff happens too. In an attempt to console Anne, Dianna (Anne's Bosom/Best friend) mentions that Gilbert calls her "Crowhead". At this point in the movie I looked at Kate and said, "you are now my Crowhead." To which she responded, "okay, Carrots." Thus we became Carrots and Crowhead, or Crowhead and Carrots depending upon where we're standing in the pictures.
So, really when you get right down to it...Gilbert Blythe named us. Did I mention I'm Carrots?
